AVRiL: Automatic Video Recording of Lectures

Four Pakistani students rose to the challenge to “Imagine a world where technology enables a better education for all” by creating an automatic cinematographer that requires no human intervention.

Microsoft's Imagine Cup is an international technology competition in which students develop innovative solutions to solve real-world challenges. The challenge for 2007: “Imagine a world where technology enables a better education for all.”

More than 100,000 students from over 100 countries entered the 2007 competition. In August, the finalists will compete at the 2007 world finals in Seoul, Korea.
