The University of Denver's Center for Innovative and Talented Youth (CITY) offers 3-week programs designed to provide educational enrichment for gifted students. Students with exceptional ability in mathematical and verbal areas are offered a special selection of enrichment courses on the Denver University campus. Classes are small and curriculum is fast-paced. Courses in math, science, and humanities are taught using a variety of approaches including laboratory experiments, small group discussions, multimedia presentations, field trips, simulations, lectures, and guest speakers. Students get a preview of college life and have the opportunity to experience classes not typically available in middle school or early high school. In addition, students study with bright, motivated peers, enhance preparation for challenging course work in the years ahead, and establish long-lasting friendships with students from across the country and around the world.
CITY was formerly called the Rocky Mountain Talent Search (RMTS).
